An initial myotherapy consultation includes a medical & lifestyle questionnaire and physical assessment to identify the cause of your pain and dysfunction. The physical assessment may include a postural assessment, range of movement testing and special orthopedic testing.

Myotherapy Long Consultation
An extended treatment is upon request by your myotherapist, OR If you have multiple or chronic issues. It may also be required if you have not been to the clinic for awhile and are presenting with a new condition since your last visit.

Myotherapy - Standard Consultation
A Standard consultation will involve your myotherapist conducting a brief re-assessment of your condition prior to treatment and perform specific treatment and exercise.
45 minutes $95
Myotherapy Short Consultation
A short consultation consists of a brief assessment of your condition and a progression to your treatment. Short consultations are ideally part of an on-going treatment plan.
30 minutes $80
Remedial Massage Therapy
Remedial Massage appointments are recommended for general muscle aches or muscle tension with no underlying cause.
Remedial massage aims to treat muscles that are sore, knotted, tense or immobile. It is useful for a number of problems that affect the muscles, tendons and bones and can address a number of other health problems.

At Home Myotherapy/Remedial Massage Assessment and Treatment
An at-home Myotherapy session starts with an assessment to pinpoint areas of tension or pain. The therapist then provides targeted treatment to ease discomfort and improve movement, all within your own home.

Is Myotherapy Covered By Private Health Insurance & Do I Need A Referral?
Myotherapy is now recognised by most Private Health Cover providers and rebates may be possible, depending on your individual cover. You should check with your private health insurer to see if you can claim Myotherapy and/or Remedial Massage. No referral is needed in order to see a Myotherapist. HICAPS payments are processed seamlessly, and claims are electronically submitted to the relevant health fund.

Cancellation Fees
- Patients who do not show up for their appointment without contacting us will be considered a ‘NO SHOW’ and will incur the full cost of the consultation.
- If you incur a cancellation fee, the fee will be invoiced by email and is due within 7 days, otherwise payable via phone. If we can fill your changed/cancelled appointment time, you will NOT be charged a fee. You are welcome to send a friend to take your appointment to avoid these fees.
